WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
CapMetro is looking for an energetic person responsible for cleaning and maintaining all of CapMetro's public facilities to include bus stops, transit centers, and rail stations.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Note: The duties and primary responsibilities below are intended to describe the general content of and requirements of this job and are not intended to be an exhaustive statement of duties.?
• Inspect, clean and repair all facilities and structures (e.g. signs, benches, trash cans, and shelters) for
damage and general cleanliness.
• Maintain all facilities at bus stops, and transit centers, and rail stations (e.g. paint and install benches,
shelters, trash cans, cut grass, dig out pads for bench installation, etc. ).
• Perform minor plumbing and construction repairs, f ixture installation and removal.
• Must operate in conditions using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in Bio-Hazard environment.
• Always maintain a safe working environment .
• Support Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s Saf ety Management Systems (SMS) process
by following safety and security policies, considering safety in every action and reporting safety and
security concerns.
• Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING
• Applicant must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Two (2) years of experience in building/ground maintenance.
